Artisme Republic may be new to blogspot. But if you've been to fotopages (fp), you must be aware of our existence. Still, we are new. True.
You must be wondering who/what is ArtismeRepublic. As mentioned before, Artisme Republic consists of four inspired young talents in photography-Mominzin, Affiq, Fozan and Azie in collaboration with Rafie, the wedding planner cum make-up artist who's of course, an expert in cosmetics and wedding arrangement. Many people asked us why do we choose photography? It looks like an easy question but it's not. It's never easy for us because we're not into this because it's an "in" or a "cool" thing to do nowadays. It's our passion that bring us together and the road for us to cause this to happen and to be where we are now, demands lots of hard works, and determination. Besides, we have to search our own identity to make us different from other wedding photographers. This is the crucial part of becoming wedding photographer. To have our own identity is not a matter of one day build. It's a matter of constant effort.
Did i say the road for us to realize this thing isn't easy? Ok i did. Yesterday was a very big deal for us. Artisme Republic is supposed to have 5 members/photographers but one of us, Anis had announced her retirement, as to put it moderately. What else could we do if she has made up her mind? It made us feel vulnerable. But, we'll move on and will make it without her. Sayonara to her. Weep, not.
Art and its beauty are subjective. People could never set rules on how they want it to be and how they want other people to see it. Thus, the creation of this blog is actually wanting & willing to share, explore and learn new ideas from other people, from each other. Should there be any comments/suggestions, just bring it on because we'll listen and respond to it.
